Saints Street Inn lunch

My sister, her North Louisiana boyfriend, and my father, and I had a delightful lunch at Saint Street Inn in our hometown of Lafayette, LA.  The weather was absolutely perfect for outdoor eating – mid-70s and breezy –  and the eating was gooood.

I had the soup du jour – a heavenly cauliflower soup featuring what I believe was a shiitake mushroom base – followed by I had a fall salad featuring green apples, pecans, avocado, radishes, perfectly cooked, large shrimp on a nice bed of greens.  Added an iced coffee followed by an iced tea to put me in a state of pure bliss.

Regan was quite pleased with everything. She had burger.

Regan’s boyfriend really enjoyed his food.

You should really check out Saint Street Inn next time you are in Lafayette.  You won’t be disappointed.
